Unlike the original Diablo ' s expansion pack, Diablo: Hellfire, it is a first-party expansion developed by Blizzard North. If you want a particular patch, just extract that into the game folder and you'll be set. Diablo II: Lord of Destruction is an expansion pack for the hack and slash action role-playing game Diablo II. Later patches are included, but the MultiRes plugin only works on 1.12.
